About Scott:

An Ohioan by birth and still a HUGE OSU fan (that's THE OHIO STATE UNIVERSITY), I moved to Colorado in 1996 to enjoy the great outdoors after receiving a BA in English from Ohio State University. My finance minor (unusual for humanities graduates) was put to use quickly working in the financial services industry as a consumer correspondence writer, a corporate communications writer, and a marketing communications writer. My affinity for fiction writing established roots as early as elementary school with a flurry of here and there credits in school publications extending into high school, but I drifted away from writing during my university years looking to establish a mainstream corporate career. And I continually devised excuses to delay fiction writing after college.

I have also tinkered with literary reviews, article writing, internet movie reviews, and - - of course web and business writing to garner the ever-needed paycheck, but my love of science fiction continually nagged at me. During a convenient haitus from the corporate world in 2004, I returned to my literary passions and began writing science fiction stories. I have been collecting rejection slips, and yes a few meager sales, ever since. I proudly display them as the well-earned trophies that they have become.
